ResponsibilitiesThe incumbents reports directly to the General Manager. Main duties and responsibilities include the below:Quality and progress related follow-up including hands-on participation in assembly workLiaison with certified authorities and classification societyEnsure that NDT procedure provided by subcontractor is in line with client requirements.Follow up on site NDT inspectionFollow up sub-contracts and maintain correspondences in accordance with requested requirementsEnsuring that health, safety and environment are attended to by the shipyard, and implemented as a natural part of the daily workContinuously assessing that the technical requirements are obtainedProject liaison, document and report on fabrication status.Be conductive to the engineering department for improved drawing solutions and construction/installation sequencesContinuous review of sub-contractors detailed fabrication plan, inspection and test plan 〔ITP）. Ensure revisions as required and sub-contractors are notified by APL for all activities identified in ITPOrganize packing and shipping of left-over equipment, spares, materials, documents, etcAssist/liaise with clients for interface interviews with vessels contractor and installation work where supervision/assistance APL is required.Qualification requirementsMinimum 5-7 years of experience with engineering within the offshore industry. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.ASNT level II NDT inspectorGood understanding and knowledge of the technical, contractual and commercial issues related to design and engineering of FPSOs.Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Fluent in oral and written English language.Team player and an eye for details.
