The 4-Stroke engineering team is a part of the global project management organisation. As a member of this engineering team, you will be responsible for the quality, delivery and technical compliance for the project related mechanical design.Responsibilities-Create project specific drawings for Ship-Power projects, including installation, interface to external systems and needed calculations. -Create preliminary drawings in sales phase, be product/technical expert to sales engineers in demanding questions. -Coordinate and perform design tasks in cooperation with internal and external partners. -Assist Ship Power sales and its customers in technical information and troubleshootingRequirements-Bachelors degree or Master of science or equal -Knowledge of Wärtsilä 4-stroke products -Knowledge of mechanical engineering -Knowledge of PDM-systems -Familiar with I-Deas cad tool, Knowledge of NX is an advantage -2-3 years work experience -Fluent written and spoken English -Excellent problem solving and decision making skills -Good teamwork and cooperation skills -Cultural awareness
