By providing professional support to Sales as well as segments force to jointly contribute to Wartsila sales target and realization of market strategy. Responsibility · Provide customer specific solutions(technically and commercially), Generate offer and specifications according to requirements of Sales project /bidding project. · Perform technical assistance to Sales Manager and customers, participate specification negotiation · Make cost calculation , provide right cost structure for supporting commercial and contract negotiation · Participate relevant project sales review meetings and prepare the documents · Maintain and develop knowledge of segment specific solutions and needs · Coordinate internally for different issues, e.g. process handling issues, price/cost issues, departments cooperation issues, · Continuously follow up key projects/hot projects status and provide all the supports timely and effectively. · Coordinate in different departments and sub suppliers, optimize/balance offer between technical solutions and sales price · Share work load with other SEs whenever/wherever needed · Translate market demands into product development proposals or concept design modifications · Suggest improvements to sales-/quotation tools and procedures Required qualification Generally · Good communication and cooperative skill which could freely handle among different people and companies · Excellent English both in writing and speaking · High self Initiative working attitude , be enthusiastic in daily work and perform good under pressure · have basic negotiation knowledge and skill as well as presentation skill. · Good organizing ability, be able to handle complex offering project · Know /understand different culture and perform properly at facing worldwide people. · Be able to travel domestically or globally by self. · Good at using office software Professional skill/knowledge · Technical degree: M.Sc. / B.Sc. , possibly Mechanical/El. Engineering or equivalent · At least 3 years working experience with Marine industry background , have experience in use of vessel equipment/system, or project manager/ engineer , or ship system designer · Have a good understanding of propulsion system equipments · Basic bid competence · Understand marine industry development worldwide and the customers business environment. · Be able to grasp sales tool e.g. QMS, CRM within short term(2~3months).
