Desired Skills: Flexibility to travel and to work at different places in China and occasionally within Asia. Coaching, instructing & Teaching the workforce at the licensees and their sub-suppliers Industrial experience and knowledge in welding Experience with the quality management & assurance system Experience with international welding standards Education: - Degree in Mechanical or Materials engineering (equivalent to B.Sc.) - Alternatively Professional education in metal fabrication. - Qualification in Welding Engineering Experience: - Experience in Manufacturing, Quality Control and Assurance of Welded structures (preferably of Machinery, Ships, Offshore structures, Boiler and Pressure vessels or dynamically loaded structural steel components) - Familiar with Engineering Codes and technical Specifications (e.g. Technical Rules of Shipping Classification Societies, ASME Sec. IX , VIII , EN- and ISO Standards) - Familiar with Engineering drawings
