Main Duties of the Jobholder 1. Performs the in-process inspection according to Code, Contract, Drawings and relevant documents; 2. Perform routine inspection of incoming raw, WIP and finished products 3. Monitor welders during production welding. 4.Look after monitoring and measuring instruments and ensure calibration status valid 5.Keep inspection records and prepare inspection reports (CIR) ; 6.Issue NDT request after visual inspection. Ensure NDT coverage is in compliance as per NDT drawings. 7. Raise nonconformance reports and follow up for closure. 8. Provide feedbacks to relevant departments regarding quality issues; 9. Liaise with Third Party Inspectors to get products accepted/approved 10. Any other ad hoc duties assigned by QA/QC Supervisor and Manager Requirements 1.Relevant working experience (both Structural & Piping) in Construction & Fabrication Industry. Degree in related discipline with experience to fabrication/projects as per codes & standards like AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3/B31.8, API-2A/2B, ASME B&PVC Section-IX/II(Part-C)/ VIII (Div-I, II), API 1104. 2.Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English Good technical writing and computer skills 3.Should be assertive towards implementation of QC procedures and the accomplishment of Quality targets. Should have previous relevant experience. 4.Min. 3-5 years hands-on experience in QC Supervision (subcontractors & vendors supervision) for Project Shop/Site fabrication, Quality Control / Quality management responsibilities within Offshore Construction / Fabrication / Projects. 5.Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Materials Science or relevant with Certifications for Welding Inspection: AWS-CWI or CSWIP3.1; NDT Level-II. QMS Internal Auditor.
