*Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years related experience in business development with marine industry customers.
*Experience with &amp knowledge of marine electronics and an aptitude for technology.
*Independent, entrepreneurial approach to developing a market for new technology services and products.
*Sales or business development experience with Software as a Service or Apps is preferred.
*Detail oriented, good project management skills.
*Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
*Ability to communicate, negotiate &amp sell into a diverse customer base with a diverse portfolio of products.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
*Advanced computer skills.
*Strong customer focus.
*Performance driven.
*Professional and efficient execution.
*Ability to communicate with all levels of typical corporate organizational structure.Main tasks:
*Identifies, organizes, and garners support for actions to drive the achievement of sales/margin, user *adoption, and data acquisition goals in assigned territory.
*Proactively develops, shares and adopts best practices among Content development/acquisition team.
*Responsible for the implementation of programs and initiatives, and successful achievement of usage and *sales targets – either directly or through pro-active support for and oversight of ‘Country Owner’.
*Collaborates with KAM, TM, CSR to identify, pitch and secure sales with customers of Content Division *products and services, and to enlist their support as appropriate for promotions and initiatives.
*Documents and follow up on Content Division goals through CRM account plans and campaigns for existing and new customers.
*Identifies and cultivates industry/partner relationships to generate awareness and adoption of Content *Division products and services. Recruits key influencers and early adopters, develops them as power users and advocates.
*Provides training and coordination – and serves as ambassador – for Content Division services and products to Navico employees and others, in order to ensure excellent service and support for customers.
*Supports the development, customization, and deployment of sales playbooks and tools for each cluster. *Develops content as required for websites, blogs, message boards, FAQs, training materials, etc.
*Participates as required in NOX feature validation and testing. Keeps Product Managers/Experts as well as *Service informed of customer/product issues.
*Attend meetings, shows, events, training as required.
*Other duties as may be assigned.Secondary functions:
*Ability to complete special projects or other duties as assigned.
*Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize many projects simultaneously.
*Ability to contribute to decision-making that affects corporate strategy.
