POSITION: Sales Operations Manager
LOCATION: Shanghai
? Assist in the administration of COMPANY’S internal Sales tools including Salesforce.com.
? Assist in the development and execution of best practices around all Sales related applications.
? Provide operational support for sales forecasting, order management, warehouse management, inventory replenishment and management reporting.
o Sales Forecasting
? Produce forecast reports and analysis and provide critical analysis of monthly sales performance to Sales managers. Identify week-over-week variances and root causes of variances.
? Help drive efforts to streamline processes associated with the timing and accuracy of forecasts.
o Order Management
? Manage the day to day Order Management operations and managing contracts
? Streamline and optimize all order-to-cash processes, including order entry.
? Introduce data quality procedures to assure accuracy of data.
? Personnel/HR management. The candidate should have solid experience managing staff (including disciplining staff, training, etc.)
? Monitor and provide critical analysis of sales activity, proactively reporting findings and conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed.
? Proactively monitor data sources to ensure reporting accuracy.
? Support Sales, Marketing, Finance and Client Services.
? Serve as central point of contact for general Sales support.
? The candidate will likely also be looking over the customer service function
? Office management: he will be in ge of miscellaneous tasks relating to the daily functioning of the office
? Experience with trading, logistics, warehousing
? Familiarity with local rules, contracts, costs
? Able to work in a multi-national type of company involving cross-national teamwork and coordination
REQUIREMENT
? BBA/B.S./B.A. degree
? Experience with trading, logistics, warehousing.
? Familiarity with local rules, contracts, costs.
? Strong experience dealing with contractors and employees.
? Able to work in a multi-national type of company involving cross-national teamwork and coordination
? Excellent customer support/service ability.
? Autonomous, straight talker, takes ownership of results and deadlines
? 5-8 years of Operations or System Administration experience.
? Data Mining and Analysis
? Demonstrated high level of business acumen in sales analysis
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to work in cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Finance)
? Problem-solving experience.
? Strong analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative).
? Autonomous, straight talker, takes ownership of results and deadlines.
? Excellent WORD, EXCELL and POWERPOINT skills.
? Fluent Chinese and English both spoken and written.
? We need someone that’s “hands-on”, therefore he needs to have the technical/hard skills in addition to the soft skills. This means that he should be able to do all the number crunching and other daily work himself (so he can properly train and monitor/control the staff in their work down to the very details)
